Death Announcement - The Rev. Francis (Joy) Chrystostom
With great sadness, the United States Alumni Association of Urban College announces the death of one of its active members, The Rev. Francis (Joy) Chrysostom. Fr. Joy, as he was affectionately known, died on Thursday, March 29, 2012 in Los Angeles, CA. His funeral will be on Wednesday, April 4, 2012.
Cardinal John Tong
John Cardinal Tong was elevated to the College of Cardinals by Pope Benedict XVI at a Consistory in Rome on February 18, 2012. Cardinal John Tong is an alumnus of Collegio Urbano.
Several of his classmates (priests ordained with him in Rome in 1966 by Pope Paul VI) 
were present in Rome to witness and celebrate their classmate as he joined the ranks of the Princes of the Church.
